National Tailors Day

Today is National Tailors Day; a day to celebrate and honour those who can create the perfect outfit. 

National Tailors Day is set to be near the birthday of Elias Howe; an American Inventor responsible for the invention of the Sewing Machine. 

No tailor would be without their trusty Tailor's Tape, and we have recently added the Hemline and Milward Analogical Tape Measures to our Sewing Accessories selection. Showing Metric & Imperial units up to 150cm/60 inches. 

Analogical Tape Measures have both metric and imperial units on the same side of the tape, for easy conversion. 

Analogical means 'compare two different things'; in this case you can compare the metric (centimetre) units, against the imperial (inches) units.

Also new to our Sewing Accessories range, is the Milward Professional Extra Long Tape Measure, with measurements up to 300cm (3 metres) or 120 inches (10 feet). Perfect for those extra long craft projects!
