Hawthorn Handmade needle felting kits are a wonderful set for both beginner and experienced crafters alike. With each kit containing British &/or Merino wools in a variety of colours suitable for the design, needles and a Step-by-Step photo instruction, you'll be making in no time.

The Fox brooch kit contains the following items:-

• Wool in a variety of colours
• 2 x Felting needles in a secure case
• Detailed instructions on how to create the design shown
• Brooch Back

Additional items required:-

• Foam or similar felting mat. (eg. Eco Wool Felting Mat)
• Needle & thread to attach the brooch back

Once finished the design will be approximately 5cm tall.

Who is this kit for?
Designed for both beginners and experienced users alike, with detailed instructions you'll be able to learn the basics of needle felting, such as how to split the wool, shaping the wool, working with felting needles as well as how to add features and details to the design. This kit is recommended for ages 14+.

This kit is estimated to take a beginner on average 6 hours to make in total, so whether you want to sit down in one sitting on a rainy day or do an hour here and there in the evenings, you'll go from materials to finish sculpture in no time.
Needle felting is also an incredibly therapeutic craft, using sharp barbed needles it agitates the wool which after a little work becomes a more solid felt like structure that can be shaped to create the desired design.

NEEDLES ARE SHARP! This kit contains sharp needles. Keep away from children and always supervise minors using this kit. Items can also be considered a choking risk, do not leave unattended and accessible to minors.
