    Gutermann Toldi-Lock is the ideal thread for all overlocking projects. This thread style is a strong but fine thread with good strength & colour fastness, perfect for all repair jobs on heavyweight fabrics. The 100% Polyester thread is suitable for both machine & hand sewing.

Thank you for your enquiry.

There is no requirement for any specialist thread type, as such if using an overlocking machine the basic Toldi Lock range would be suitable or if using a standard sewing machine, the Sew All range would be best. In order to avoid spoiling the way it hands we would recommend using one of the many blogs or youtube videos available by searching how to shorten a pleated skirt
