Hemline Self-Cover Buttons are an ideal way to create your own buttons by matching or contrasting with your project. 
Cover these buttons with fabric to personalise and decorate garments and accessories, with an easy to fit snap-on back plate. 

Buttons feature a hoop/shank back to secure to your garment. 

Available in 6 Sizes; 11mm, 15mm, 18mm, 22mm, 29mm and 38mm diameter.

Instructions
1. Lift washer off shank
2. Cut cloth to pattern. (This can be found on the back of the packaging)
Cut stretch fabrics slightly undersized. Thin fabrics should be interfaced or use double thickness. Moisten bulky fabrics.
3. Run a gathering stitch close to edge of cloth. Place button on wrong side and draw in gathers. Secure thread tightly and smooth gathers around button.
4. Place washer on shank with teeth side down. Use the end of a thread spool to push washer down firmly.
