Mettler Silk-Finish Cotton 50 is Mettler's cotton all-rounder and is ideal for quilting, sewing and matt embroidery. In addition, great decorative effects can be achieved on overlock seams with this thread as a bobbin thread and Mettler's SERACOR as a needle thread. 

The thread impresses with a luxuriously soft effect and a supple feel. 

During production, the thread undergoes a mercerization process, which makes the thread more tearproof, low-shrink and iron-proof. Mettler's special dying technique also gives the thread the highest level of colourfastness.
