I am looking for a denim thread as close as possible in shade to gutermann 414 in their regular thread

Thank you for your question. The Denim range doesn't have a close thread option to that of the Col. 414, with Col. 2795 being the closest but is far more of a brown than a cream and wouldn't be classed as close in colour. The other option of Denim would be Col. 3130 but this is more a grey cream than the light option of that of the Col. 414.
If it is a case of looking for a hard wearing strong thread and colour consistency to that of Col. 414 is required, you may want to consider the Extra Strong Col. 414. The extra strong thread is typically used in areas of high stress and whilst commonly found being used in upholstery, it does also come with a guidance of being ideal for use in the sewing and repairing of jeans due to its strength and wear resistance.
