    Gutermann Metallic Machine Embroidery Thread - 200m (220 yards) Spool - Col. 7021 Prism White

    A sparkling polyester/polyamide thread especially designed for producing high quality glittering machine embroidery motifs.
    - Universal Metallic effect thread for all embroidery motifs.
    - For twinkling appearance and shimmering effects.
    - For ornamental stitches and decorative seams.
    - Recommended needle and needle size:- Metallic Machine Embroidery needle NM 80-90

    60% Polyamide / 40% Polyester Material

    The thread thickness is measured at No./Tkt. 135 - dtex 215(1).

    Suitable for washing upto 60°C, moderate heat tumble drying and dry cleaning. Do not hot iron.

    This product is sold as a singular spool and will be placed within a gripseal pack when dispatched. When purchasing multiple spools these may be placed within the same bag.

Can you use this thread from the spool holder only (I.e. can I leave plain white cotton on the bobbin so that only the top stitch h has the metallic effect?).

Yes, you do not need to use the Metallic thread as the bobbin thread. A standard thread can be used or a specific embroidery bobbin thread should you prefer. We hope you find this information helpful.
