Each needle features a light green band to identify its type, and a coloured band to help identify the size.

Schmetz Universal Machine Needles, are suitable for a wide range of fabrics, including jersey and synthetics. 
Each needle features a coloured band to help identify the size.

Schmetz Jeans Machine Needles are suitable for use with strong, thick fabrics, like Jeans, Twill or Canvas. 
Each needle features a blue band to identify its type, and a coloured band to help identify the size.

Schmetz Microtex Machine Needles, feature a special point for accurate stitches in fine or densely woven materials.
