Each needle features a coloured band to help identify the size.

Schmetz Jeans Machine Needles are suitable for use with strong, thick fabrics, like Jeans, Twill or Canvas. 
Each needle features a blue band to identify its type, and a coloured band to help identify the size.

Schmetz Stretch Machine Needles are suitable for elastic fabrics, like swimwear, cotton knitwear or velour cloth.
Each needle features a yellow band to identify its type, and a coloured band to help identify the size.
