Schmetz Hemstitch Machine Needles, are for use in heirloom sewing, decorative cutwork & stitching, broderie anglaise as well as whitework embroidery and multi-media quilting. Suitable for light or medium weight loosely woven fabrics such as linen.

Available in Sizes 100/16 & 120/19.

Each pack contains a single needle.

Needle System 130/705 H Wing

When sewing, holes are created in the seam, acting as a decorative element without having to remove the threads in the woven fabric beforehand such as you would when hand sewing. Always use with a zigzag needle plate with an elongated stitch hole. For the foot use a satin stitch or zigzag foot or alternatively reduce the stitch width so that the needle does not strike the sewing foot or the needle plate.

The Hemstitch needle moves easily through light to medium-weight loosely woven fabrics. Popular for heirloom sewing and decorative cutwork, the Hemstitch needle can be used in multi-media quilts.
